How many people is online at your blog? you know that or don't? If you don't know how many people is online at your blog, you can use a free tracker to know it. That is much site provide this service. Once of them is www.histats.com. If you use them tool, you can know how many people online at your blog, how many people was visited to your blog, and any function. This is once of example :

How to get it? please following the steps :

Please visit www.histats.com.

If you was on the histats site, click Register at the top tab.

Content the form with your information, such as email, password, your blog url and etc.

Click Continue button.

Choose the style of histats counter, click Choose a counter from this category.

Please mark the radio button beside the counter style you wanted.

Click Continue button at the bottom of page.

Click at the drop down menu, choose the category which to display at your counter. the choice is : visitor today, Page views today, User online, Total visitors, and total page views. Choose empty if you want not to display them.

Click Continue button.

Wait a moment, your counter is updating.

Until the process is done, copy your counter code and paste to the Notepad or other text editor. Save into your computer.

Logout and close your internet browser.

Done. Now you has have a counter code to add at your blog.

Next step is add your counter code to your blog, please following the steps :

Login to blogger with your ID.
After entering the dasboard page , click Layout. Please saw the picture :

Click at Page Element tab. See the picture below :

Click at Add a Page element.
After emerging pop up window , Klik add to blog button for the things HTML/JavaScript. See the picture following :

Open your Counter code, copy and then paste into available column.

Click

Done. Please see the result.

Now you have a Counter, and you will know how many people online at your blog.

By using the tool from this site, hence you as blog owner will know how many do totalizing the visitor which have paid a visit to your blog, where from they come, what is from search engine or not, with what keyword do they pay a visit, and also still many other function.

Interest to install site meter tool at your blog? please following the steps :

1. Please visit to http://www.sitemeter.com.

2. Click Sign up for Site Meter basic Free.

You know Google PageRank or PR, don’t you? Google Pagerank is a ranking term given by Google for a website or a blog. If you still don’t know, please read the full and detail explanation about it in Wikipedia. PageRank ranges from 1 to 10. If your blog or site has higher PageRank, it shows that your blog is really good.Actually, having PR 4 is good enough, and having more than PR 4 is more than enough and proves that you have an excellent web or blog.

In order to check PageRank, you can use PageRank Checker, such as; Mypagerank.net, googlepagerank seocaster.com, and others sites. But if you want to know the PageRank for each blog or site accurately and quickly, you can add Google Toolbar in the browser. Add Flash Label Widget in Blog

To make it interesting, please drop your mouse on the images on the left. It’s nice, isn’t it? A few days ago, a friend of mine asked me a tutorial about making animated widget flash label/category as seen on the left. That widget is usually used by WordPress engine. However, Blogger engine users can add that widget. I wanna thank to Amanda for making this widget for blogger.

Interested in making it? Just follow the steps below:

1. Log in into blogger with pour ID
2. Click Layout.
3. Click Edit HTML tab
4. Click Download Full Template and back up the template first.
5. Find the code similar with the code below.

6. Copy and Paste the code below under the code above;

7. Click SAVE TEMPLATE
8. Finished

With the right steps above, your animated flash label/category should be created well. However, to make the label matches with your template, you can change some code above, for example;

Change the widget width:

Width="250"

Value “250” is the widget label 250 pixel. This value can be changed as you need example: 300

Change the widget height:

Height="200"

Value “200” is the widget height 200 pixel. You can change this value as you need, example; 250

Change the background color:

<param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" />

The writing of “ffffff” is the color code for white, if you want to change it with other color, just change the color code of the color you want, example, the code color of black is “000000”.

Change the text color:

The writing of “000000” is the color code of black, if you want to change with other color. Just change the color code with the color code you want. Example; the color code of white is
“ffffff”

To change with other color, you have to know the other color code…ok!!!

Add Alert Script in Blog

alert Have you ever visited a blog in which you open it, it doesn’t bring you to the blog content directly but shows you a message, like the image on the left. Well, every person has different interest of something, like this Alert. Honestly, I don’t really like to add this script alert because it can make the readers uncomfortable. When readers are opening a new page, this alert always appears and readers should always click it. For me, it is really bothering.

How about you? Would you like to add it? If you want to add it, don’t add it too much because it really bothers the visitors. Once kang Rohman visited a blog with many alerts, I really felt uncomfortable.

In order to add script alert facility in our blog is not difficult because we don not add a lot of script. The sample scripts are as follow:

Simple, isn’t it? Besides using the above script, you can also use many others ways, one of them is by using the following script:

Do you have read a magazine or newspaper? the answer is surely have. In this opportunity I will study concerning how do to make an alphabet which in printing bigger in comparing with other ordinary alphabet such as in writing in a newspaper or magazine. For example :

If you are a beginner, possible you'd feel to surprise when seeing the articles in my blog presenting only shares first paragrap or second paragrap, and to read for full article, you must click Read more... link. Alright.. please don't feel surprise, i will discuss about this now.

The function like that called Post Summary. You can make a post summary function with add a little code to your template code. But this code is for new blogger template (beta) and does not work at classic template.

Please follow the steps below :

Step #1 :

Login to blogger with your ID
In the dashboard page , click Layout.
Then click edit HTML tab.
Click the Download full template link. Save your template (very important)
Please mark the little box beside Expand Widget Templates. Wait for a moment.

Go to your template code, and find the code like this :

Before I answer the the question it is better you know usefulness from a search machine in blog. Installation a search engine in blog of course will make your visitor is easier to find the articles in your blog, for the reason hence opening the big opportunity of your articles will in reading by many visitors.

How to change the template

At this opportunity, I will discuss about how to change template in blogger.com. First matter to be in considering in changing template is you have to make a backing up your old template, this good for if you feeling not match with your newly template

To change the template, of course you must had a new template to uploaded. If still not yet had, you can download for free template at other sites. Have ready for changing your old template with newly template? Please follow the steps below :

After entering the dasboard page , click Layout. Please saw the picture :

Then click edit HTML tab. Please saw the picture :

Click the Download full template link. Save your template:

Click browse... button. Choose your new template. and then click Upload button.

Usually go out commemoration that your data in your widgets will be delete forever (so don't forget to backup your widgets).

Click at Convirm & Save button.

Finish. Please look he result.

Now you have had the new face. However of course your template is still empty, So next step is inserting your widgets manually through page element menu.

If your blog want caried by google, you must doing several settings. This is how to setting your blog:

If your blog more than 1, click at the blog title want to setting.

Click Setting and then click Basic. Several form that must in the contents to the menu basic:

Title : Content with your blog title. Example : Blog Tutorial.

Description : Content with your description blog. Example : All about blogging can find here.

Add your blog to our listing : chose Yes, so that every time posting always entered the Blogger.com list.

Show Quick Editing on your blog : Chose Yes.

Show Email post link : It is best to chose Yes, but if you chose No also it's allright.

Show compose Mode for all your blog : Chose Yes.

Show transliteration button for your post : chose Yes if the you wanted to be button to change normally alphabet to hindi (India) alphabet, Chose No if being the reverse.

Click Save Settings.

Finish.

Click Publishing to arrange the publishing menu.

Blog’Spot Address : Content with your blog address. Example : kolom-tutorial.

Send Pings : Chose Yes.

Click Save Settings.

Finish.

Click Formatting to arrange the formatting menu.

Show : Chose the number of post want you to display in your blog. Example : Show : 6 post, it's means your posting will display in your page Totally six posting. Chose Post (don't days) at pulldown menu

Language : Chose language what you wanted.

Convert line break : Chose Yes, but if you chose No it's allright.

Show Link Field : Chose No, but if you chose Yes it's allright.

Enable Float aligment : Chose Yes, but if you chose No it's allright.

Click Save Settings.
Finish.

Click Comment to arrange the Comment menu.

Comments : Chose Show.

Who Comment? Chose Anyone. It's means anyone can comment to your post.

Comments Default for Post : Chose New post Have Comments

Back links : Chose Show. It's means you will know if another people has linked to your post.

Backlinks default for Posts : Chose New post have Backlinks.

Show comments in a popup window? : Chose Yes. It's means when the people click Comment link your blog not lost.

Show word verification for comments? : It's better to chose Yes

Enable comment moderation? : Chose No, but if you wanted chose Yes it's allright.

Show profile images on comments? : Chose Yes. It's means the photo of commentator of blogger member can display.

Comment Notification Address : Content with your email address.

Click SAVE SETTINGS.

Finish.

Click ARCHIVING to arrange the archiving menu.

Archive Frequency : Chose monthly.

enable Post Pages? : Chose Yes.

Click SAVE SETTINGS.

After we arrive in Blogger.com, you will see picture like shown above. Now, follow my instruction.

Click an arrow sign, inscribed with “CREATE YOUR BLOG NOW”
Complete the ‘e-mail address’ form, with your own e-mail address (of course with the valid one).
Rewrite your e-mail address in form ‘retype e-mail address’
Type the password as you wanted to. Type it in form, ‘enter a password’
Retype your password in form ‘type password again’
Type the password as you wanted to. Type it in form, ‘enter a password’
Retype your password in form ‘type password again’
Type the word which has shown, in form ‘word verification’. Click the white little square beside the sentence, ‘I accept the Terms of Service’.
Click an arrow sign inscribed with “CONTINUE”
Write the title of your blog that you desire (you can change it later) in form ‘Blog Title’
Type the name of your site in form ‘Blog Address (URL)’ .
Type verification word which shown in form ‘word verification’. After that, click an arrow image inscribed with word, ‘CONTINUE’.
Choose one template that you wanted to (You can change it later, if you want), then click again an arrow sign inscribed with word ‘CONTINUE’.
Wait a moment. After you meet a sentence ‘Your blog has been created’. Click an arrow sign (again) which inscribed with “BEGIN POSTING’. Feel please to fill up your blog with everything you want to. After you finish with your first posting, just click the sentence, ‘PUBLISH YOUR POSTING’, Please write What you want, if being finished then click of the publish button.
